Almost all of our ingredients are grown, foraged, or harvested by hand right here on our farm and surrounding land in the Slocan Valley. We cultivate herbs like calendula, chamomile, and yarrow in small garden beds using organic practices, and we forage wild botanicals such as elder leaf, plantain, and poplar bud with care.
While we’re not certified organic, we follow regenerative principles. We use no-till practices, cover cropping, and natural mulches like straw or raw sheep wool to build soil health. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers are ever used — just compost, observation, and a lot of hands-on care. Our water-free balm stays pure with our short ingredient list.
